I bought a hat. I found it in the children's bargain bin at Kappahl, and though I am not one to buy hats left and right, I did see the possibilities of this particular purchase. Flattering, wouldn't you say?
"Oh, my!" thought I, "This round logo bears a striking resemblance to the Kyokushin patch on my gi."
I ripped open the stitches and sewed the one patch over the other and went off to karate. I wanted to see how long it would take Shihan to spot the difference, and only after ten minutes did his hawk-eye settle on my oddly-colored accessory. "Sanna, come here," he calls to me in the middle of the green-belt's demonstration of circuit training. He pinches my sleeve for a better look. "What is this?"
I grin. "April Fool's."
He shakes his head and cups my face in his hands and smiles a smile that seems to say I was much too young and amusing to be reprimanded, and said no more on the subject.

Awww, I think that hat is wonderfully cute! I loved Super Mario as a child and still have a soft spot in my heart for those great classic video games.
Thank you very much for your blog comments this week, I really appreciate your visit. Red hair colour does tend to fade at the speed of light, but I usually recolour about every 4-5 weeks, which helps curb that prob a bit.
Wishing you an absolutely lovely Easter weekend,
Jessica
