Coming Along, Ever So Slightly

I have just written 2,554 words on my father's book. Actually, I haven't written anything creatively, though I have interviewed my father and recorded him and transcribed the dialogue unto my computer. It took a while, and my back is stiff. I do realize this is going to be a bit of a mammoth task. I also have to interview my mother and press her for more details, email my father's friends to get different versions of the same story, ask them for verification and pictures of my father's time in Afghanistan and India and where-have-you. I also have to dig up old files from my father's time in Ukraine and go through the sack of letters in storage, sent between my parents when they were sundered by geography. But research, I suppose, is the key to a good book.

I'll see if I have time to write some on my other one.
